Northerner Scandinavia, Inc. began operations in 1998 as a web store selling all things Swedish. At the urging of our customers, we began selling Swedish snus worldwide.

Now, 12 years later, we sell millions of cans per year online, and have opened a U.S. warehouse to distribute Swedish snus to retailers and wholesalers nationwide. Our +100,000 customer database allows us to offer retailers/wholesalers an instant customer base in selected geographic areas. We also offer a store locator for our retailers on our website, so that our online customers can find local retailers to purchase their favorite brands.

We offer over 50 brands of authentic Swedish snus, a far wider selection than any currently offered in the U.S. Our snus manufacturers offer many versions of their snus, from high nicotine brands to lower nicotine versions similar to American snus offerings. We even offer snus with no nicotine for those wanting to stop using nicotine altogether.

Swedish snus is a growing segment of the moist smokeless tobacco category in the U.S. Snus usage here in the U.S in 2009 was estimated to be at 15 million cans, which is 4 times larger than in 2008. Swedish snus is currently being sold in over 600 retail establishments across the U.S. and this number is growing daily. The snus segment has received wide media attention in the last year, and a few American tobacco companies have produced their own interpretation of our original Swedish snus products.
